Samuel Akebe is the founder and owner of Afro Procurement Solutions PLC. He pioneered eTender (Ethiotender) in 2008, introducing an electronic tendering platform at a time when Ethiopia’s digital procurement market was still in its early stages. The platform laid the foundation for the company’s work in eProcurement, SaaS and business-critical systems.
As the business evolved, eTender was transformed into AfroTender, a broader procurement ecosystem created to serve Ethiopia while extending its ambition to the African market. Samuel continues to lead the company’s strategic direction, procurement innovation and growth.
Launched the early eTender/Ethiotender platform in 2008, establishing the roots of the company’s procurement technology journey.
Expanded the vision into Afro Procurement Solutions PLC, a systems solutions house serving organizations with digital platforms and SaaS products.
